Touchline Managers’ Course.
One will be held at Wigan St Judes on Wednesday 14 MAY (not 7th as announced at meeting) at 8.00 p.m for all those teams who have not yet got a touchline manager. Some teams have been told they must have touchline managers because of discipline issues, others have not been able to hold a course because they have no club house. This course will be open to anybody from any age group and any club. ALL TEAMS IN THIS LEAGUE MUST HAVE A TOUCHLINE MANAGER BY THE BEGINNING OF NEXT SEASON.
Any suggestions for proposed rule changes must be sent in to Hilary before 15 May.
Friendly matches may now take place as the league season has been completed. Coaches must make their own arrangements and find their own referees. BUT all arranged matches must be notified in writing to Hilary and a team sheet must be sent in in the usual manner. This is an insurance issue and the correct procedure must be followed.
From Youth & Junior Council. There will be a one item agenda meeting in the near future. Many youth and junior leagues are not impressed with the current situation and recent developments. Discusion took place and there will be report back via e mail to each club delegate.
No discussion has taken place regarding the Under 19s Lancashire Youth Team.
No disucssion has taken place regarding the press release re teams returning to regional leagues and a proposed Champion of Champions competition.

The tickets cost £1.00 each and the 1st prize is a 3 week trip for 2 to the World Cup in Australia. The best bit is that for every pound received, your club is allowed to retain 60p. The 40p for each sold ticket is to be sent with counterfoils to Rugby League Services by 16 June at the latest. More books of tickets may be obtained from Rugby League Services – 01484 544131.
