MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

ON WEDNESDAY 13 JUNE 2007

 

The Fair Play Award was presented to Orrell St James Under 16s.   Congratulations to all their players and coaches.

 

Awards to recognise years of good administrative service to this league were distributed to many of our well deserving colleagues.  If any one thinks that someone special has been omitted, please let Hilary know.

 

Welcome to all last season?s Under 15s representatives who have moved to Under 16s for season 2007 ? 08.

 

1.         Roll Call           Apologies from Jackie Clowes and Steve Hunt.  

 

Absentees: Blackbrook 18s,

 

2.         Minutes of the last AGM  meeting ?Already passed as a true and correct record last July.

 

3.         REPORTS

Chairman/Secretary ? already circulated.

Treasurer                      handed out at the meeting.  Proposed accepted by Hindley and seconded by Woolston Rovers.  A healthy balance which has been helped by £500.00 sponsorhip money from the NYL and also quite a few brawls during the season.  Fines for a brawl are always £100.00.

           

4.         ELECTION OF OFFICERS

The chairman asked that the committee as listed below be re-elected en bloc.

Proposed Latchford Albion and seconded by Langworthy Reds.  Agreed unanimously

 

5.         RULE CHANGES

 

All the suggested rule changes which had previously distributed were explained and were accepted unanimously.  

 

6.         NEW CLUBS

The following new clubs were accepted into the league.

            Bolton Phoenix

Roose Pioneers

West Bank Swans.

The meeting closed and a general meeting was opened.
